Rye Mutual Aid was set up on 15 March 2020 as a group of local volunteers organised themselves to offer help and support to those affected by the COVID-19 crisis.

In a few weeks, our numbers have grown, we are now 600 volunteers strong and have provided support to hundreds of residents of Rye and surrounding area by:

​

1.  Buying or picking up shopping

2. Collecting medications

3. Checking in on people by phone

4. Putting bins out, posting mail, dog walking

​

We try to answer any request for help that we receive.
