In order to maintain best practice and ensure that our volunteers protect both themselves and the residents they are helping, we have created protocols for our volunteers to follow.​
Due to these being amended occasionally as we learn through practice, we have uploaded these as downloadable documents. The most recent version will always be on this website.

Protocols & Risk Assessment for Volunteers

We have also created, thanks to Col. Anthony Kimber of Rye Emergency Action Community Team (REACT), this risk assessment for all works carried out by volunteers of Rye Mutual Aid.
WHAT DISPATCHERS NEED:
  • Communication streams with their zone's volunteers

  • Successful access to the Google sheet showing live list of volunteers in their zone

  • Good understanding of the essential advice

  • Successful access to the Google sheet request tracker - here you collate requests your volunteers have carried out
